Junior Achievement STEM Summit Season Again!

York Electricians JATC is again participating the the Junior Achievement STEM Summits by administering the electrical competition that allows every 9th or 10th grade student to build an electrical circuit.  The team project requires students to wire a switch controlling a light, a button controlling a buzzer, and a receptacle.
So far, we have visited Central High School and Kennard Dale High School.  The students all seem to enjoy the challenging project and the opportunity to see various career opportunities within Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math fields.  We appreciate the opportunity to volunteer and get kids excited about the electrical industry.
Thank you to Tyler Ort, Alayna Queary, Chris LaCroix, and Eric Plank who have all volunteered to help make this competition possible.  These IBEW local 229 members understand the importance of education and community.
