Class of 2015
Congratulations Class of 2015
York Electricians JATC and IBEW local 229 would like to announce the graduation of our Inside Wireman Class of 2015. All apprentices completed the electrical training ALLIANCE curriculum as well as the Craft Certification Level 6 written and proficiency examinations. The class also completed their Senior Project with Habitat for Humanity that included installing a service, branch wiring, temporary wiring, and panel rough-in for a new home. The project included apprentices, instructors, and union staff. Chuck Whitman from CapitalTristate awarded each student with additional gifts and recognized the Outstanding Apprentices with several awards from Training Partners. We are thankful for the hard work of all of our instructors and the assistance of our training partners. We are also thankful for our members families who have supported them through this 5 year program. This is an outstanding class and we are proud to have them as Journeyman representing IBEW local 229.
