What’s it like to be an IBEW Apprentice?

It’s not easy.  It’s not for everyone.  But, for some of us it’s the right mix of challenge and reward….job security and job variety….mental and physical effort.  IBEW Apprentices work hard for 5 years to learn the knowledge and skills needed to stand with the elite as an IBEW Journeyman Electrician.  It is a title that is earned on-the-job and in the classroom.  IBEW Apprentices are trusted to become the leaders of tomorrow’s electrical industry.  They are expected to be able to adapt to emerging technologies and innovations that outpace any other industry.  This is an exciting time full of amazing opportunities if you have what it takes!
